Anyone who wishes to learn Basic First Aid Skills

Content:

It is a comprehensive CPR course designed to teach the skills of CPR for victims of all ages (Adult, Child, Infant) including ventilation with a barrier device, a pocket face-mask, a bag valve mask device and oxygen. It also teaches the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED) and relief of foreign body airway obstruction (FBAO).

Certification

An Irish Heart Foundation and/or PHECC certificate valid for two years is awarded to successful participants on completion of practical and/or written assessments (written assessment for Healthcare Provider Course) .
FETAC Level 5 certification is awarded for the 3 day FETAC Occupational First Aid courses on completion of practical and written assessments.
